The Tennessee Volunteers defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide for the second time in three years. The curse is over!!
Alabama had won every year from 2007 through 2021.
Tennessee defense was up to the task all day long, and all into the evening. Alabama Lead at the half 7-0 controlling the ball in the first half, having the ball 20:12 to 9:48. To better make it clear Alabama had the ball 2/3 of the first half and Tennessee only 1/3. Tennessee and Alabama met for the 123rd time and 109 of those meetings has been the 3rd Saturday in October. TN Nico was injured briefly and Moore came in the game and threw an immediate interception to Alabama’s defensive back, also the name of Moore with 11:10 to go in the 1st half.
