The Tennessee volunteers destroyed Kent State as expected, defeating Kent State 71-0 in Knoxville Tennessee at Neyland Stadium Saturday night. This was the most points Tennessee scored since 79-0 win over Carson Newman in 1929 and the second most points in SEC history.
